River Coffee Take On The Clarendon Way | Charity Fundraiser
Jul 14, 2026
This September, we're walking the marathon-length Clarendon Way route to fundraise for the Boaz Project.Β
We are proud to be a corporate partner of the Boaz Project for the second year. Building off the success of last year's partnership, which included:
- 2k A Day April Challenge, Coffee Pop Ups & Custom Coffee 'Ewe-Phoric Blend'
- Raised over Β£1.5k
For 2026, we wanted to set ourselves bigger challenges with even more potential and an even bigger fundraising goal. We knew we'd be bringing our coffee pop ups back to Boaz and we've been thrilled with the progress so far of our Barista Skills Programme for adults with learning disabilities. But what team fundraiser would we land on this year? The 26 mile Clarendon Way Walk was floated amongst the team, and we were up for it! We told the team at Boaz about the idea and they thought it sounded great.Β
This September, the team at River Coffee Roasters, staff at the Boaz Project and friends of both the charity and the coffee roastery, are taking on the 26-mile Clarendon Way hike to support Boaz's month of fundraising, Sporty September.
We'll be walking the marathon-length to raise money for the brilliant real-work opportunities that Boaz provide for adults with learning disabilities on their 4.5 acre farm-based site just outside Winchester. This is a supportive environment which empowers members who work alongside volunteers and staff, taking part in horticulture, animal care, arts and crafts, woodwork - and coffee making! These opportunities are so important. In England, only 6% of adults with learning disabilities are in paid employment.
If you're able to support us, every donation - big or small - will be hugely appreciated and have a real impact on the members at the Boaz Project. Thank you for helping us turn every step into fantastic opportunities.
